Why Choose Clear Hearing

When it comes to your hearing health or that of a family member, it can be difficult to decide who to trust. Clear Hearing is a professional medical practice, not a store. We have patients, not customers. Our priorities are comprehensive hearing exams and educational patient counseling. We complete a medical diagnosis of each patient’s hearing loss to properly fit and dispense hearing aids.

The Clear Hearing staff is highly trained and experienced.

The Clear Hearing Audiologists have Doctorate or Master's degrees and treat hearing loss in people of all ages, from pediatric patients to nursing home residents. Staff experience includes working in Veteran’s hospitals, Ear, Nose and Throat clinics, private medical practices, general hospitals, senior facilities, and for hearing aid manufacturers in training and technical support. Our accomplished staff enables Clear Hearing to treat the hearing needs of diverse patients in a caring and professional manner.

Our staff members do not work on commission.

Clear Hearing is a no-pressure environment where our Audiologists do what is best for the patient. If you are not a candidate for amplification, you will not be pressured to buy a hearing aid from us. Your hearing health is our priority. We focus on educating patients so that they can make informed decisions and the choices that are right for them.

Comprehensive hearing aid choices.

Clear Hearing is not owned or financially influenced by any manufacturer. We can provide devices from a wide variety of quality manufacturers to best fit patient hearing needs. Please visit our Services and Products page for a summary of the top manufacturers available at Clear Hearing.

Why no free hearing tests?

Free hearing exams are a strategy used to pressure patients to buy hearing aids from certain manufacturers. Clear Hearing believes in protecting our patients. Although we do charge for our comprehensive hearing evaluations, most insurance plans will cover the cost of a hearing evaluation. There are no hidden costs in our pricing for devices or other services from Clear Hearing.

Clear Hearing accepts most insurance.

We accept most insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid with a primary physician referral. Although the cost of hearing aids is usually not covered by insurance, they are tax deductible as a medical expense. Please consult your tax advisor. When you purchase hearing aids, Clear Hearing can offer payment options or manufacturer financing if desired.
